"Valley"
Taken: 15/6/2003 - Peak District National Park, England
I took this in the Peak District, which is between Sheffield and Manchester, on the way to Sheffield. The Peak District is one of the National Parks in the UK, and is an absolute haven for hikers and landscape photographers alike. Amazingly, I managed to take this just by the roadside. I can't begin to imagine what the sceneries are like up in the peaks itself. The Yorkshire Moors have fascinated me as a child, and will continute to fascinate me for a while yet, it seems.
"Local Boy Abroad"
Taken: 1/6/2003 - Blackpool Car Boot Sale
A refreshing sight to see a local boy bearing British plates. And this time, they didn't even change his name!
"Signs"
Taken: 2/6/2003
This signpost is situated at the junction between Grizedale & Pendle college, and the Management School / Computing Building. It holds a certain significance for me because one wet Sunday morning in October 2000, this was the first signpost I saw at Lancaster University as I set upon my first ever sojourn into Lancaster city center. Needless to say, I managed to get lost.
"Lancaster Rooftops"
Taken: 30/5/2003
The rooftops of Lancaster City - church spire and Ashton Memorial in the distance. Taken from in front of Lancaster Castle.
