I took this in the Peak District, which is between Sheffield and Manchester, on the way to Sheffield. The Peak District is one of the National Parks in the UK, and is an absolute haven for hikers and landscape photographers alike. Amazingly, I managed to take this just by the roadside. I can't begin to imagine what the sceneries are like up in the peaks itself. The Yorkshire Moors have fascinated me as a child, and will continute to fascinate me for a while yet, it seems.

This signpost is situated at the junction between Grizedale & Pendle college, and the Management School / Computing Building. It holds a certain significance for me because one wet Sunday morning in October 2000, this was the first signpost I saw at Lancaster University as I set upon my first ever sojourn into Lancaster city center. Needless to say, I managed to get lost.

Introductions...
I've decided to start a photoblog, where I will put up some of the photos I've taken which I like; they will be in a smaller format but if you click on them you can find a copy that is 1024 x 768 in size; which would fit nicely as a wallpaper on your desktop. All images, as they are in the name of art, are free for non-commercial purposes.
